CALA MILLOR AND THE SURROUNDINGS…YOU’LL LOVE IT!
On the north-east coast of the island, Cala Millor is part of the municipalities of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and is the largest tourist development in our destination. From Cala Millor, as if they were two arms embracing the sea, Costa de los Pinos can be seen in the north and sa punta de n’Amer in the south (Natural Area of Special Interest), an almost flat small peninsula between sa Coma and Cala Millor. The most attractive feature of Cala Millor is its 2 Km long sandy beach and the promenade that runs parallel to it all along. Loads of sunshine, the sand, the sea, and a marine protected area are its major natural resources. Following the 1960s tourist boom, visitors have come here year after year to enjoy the beaches, horse-riding, cycling and walking excursions in the surroundings, to practise a great many sports (tennis, squash, football, beach voleyball, scuba diving, bodyboard, surf, etc.), do some shopping, or go out for dinner or a drink in the evening in the many restaurants, bars and cafeterias (https://visitcalamillor.com/cala-millor/).
Our location is perfect for golf lovers, with several courses in the area.
A great deal of cycling routes as well as bicycle-rental services available.
Cala Millor and its surroundings have numerous trekking paths and natural parks for walking.
Beautiful unspoilt beaches perfect for water sports, scuba diving and other sea-related activities.
Castles, Talaiots and historic routes are our ancestors’ legacy in our beautiful and lively corner on the island.
