The coastal town of Cala Millor is shared between the municipalities of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Son Servera, located in the northeast of the island of Mallorca, and is the most extensive tourist centre of our destination. From Cala Millor, as if they were two arms embracing the sea, you can see the points of the Costa dels Pins to the north and to the south Sa Punta de n’Amer (Natural Area of Special Interest), a small almost flat peninsula located between Sa Coma and Cala Millor.
The main attraction of Cala Millor is its extensive beach of fine sand and crystalline waters, almost two kilometres long, with a promenade that runs from start to finish. Sun, lots of sun, its sand, the sea and the green and protected marina are the main natural resources that identify it.
With the tourist boom of the 60’s, tourists return year after year, they like to walk along the beach, go on horseback, on foot or by bicycle through the green areas nearby, enjoy the great complementary offer in sports (tennis, squash, football, volleyball on the beach, diving, bodyboard, surfing etc), go for a walk in the afternoon between the shops, near the sea or go out at night to have dinner in the restaurants or have a drink in the many bars and cafes.
